SCORE

SCORE is a nonprofit organization that provides free, confidential business mentoring and expert guidance to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Backed by a nationwide network of experienced volunteer mentors, SCORE helps businesses at every stage, from startup planning to growth and expansion.

One-on-one business mentoring (in-person or virtual)
Business planning and strategy
Marketing and sales guidance
Financial planning and funding resources
Workshops, webinars, and educational resources
Startup and small business support

Free, one-on-one mentoring appointments are available at the Josey Ranch Lake Library on Mondays by appointment. Virtual mentoring sessions are also available.

Momentum Mondays: Biz Builders is a monthly educational series presented by the Carrollton Public Library in partnership with the SCORE Dallas Chapter. The series provides entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical insights, tools, and resources through expert-led sessions focused on topics that support business growth and success. Sessions are held monthly, withupcoming topics, dates and registration information available through the Carrollton Public Library events calendar.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

The U.S. Small Business Administration provides resources to help entrepreneurs and small businesses start, grow, and succeed.
