Hotel & Conference Center

Carrollton is slated to get three hotels and a 15,000 SF conference center. The hotels will be phased with the first hotel having theHotel & Conference Center adjoining conference center. The complex will be located at the northeast corner of Raiford and Trinity Mills Roads. Construction will commence in 2012 and will be developed by Lowen Holdings. “This is an exciting development for the city said Brad Mink, director of economic development. “It brings a much needed facility for guests and conferences.”  


Spa Castle

The C. Castle Group is bringing a new kind of luxury to the City of Carrollton, with an expansive new Spa Castle. This unique destination day spa will feature three-stories of spa treatments, banquet rooms and 27 hotel rooms, for those who wish to extend their stay.

City of Carrollton Director of Economic Development Brad Mink said, “The Spa Castle and its development group are bringing first-class luxury to Carrollton. We expect it to become a popular destination for local, regional, and international visitors.”

Spa Castle is expected to open in June 2011. 

The Shops at Prestonwood

The Shops at Prestonwood is a mixed-use development concept that is located on 43 acres in the heart of one of Dallas Ft. Worth’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The Shops at Prestonwood will feature a number of components that are essential for a vibrant urban village with lifestyle elements that are highly attractive to a broad range of commercial and residential tenants. The community will be self-contained and self-sufficient, with upscale townhomes residences, retail shops, restaurants, offices and facilities for living, working and playing.

The master plan includes a park with walking paths, a creek and pond and tree-lined streetscapes. The Shops at Prestonwood is located adjacent to the spectacular Prestonwood Baptist Church campus, approximately ¼ mile from the Dallas Tollway, ¼ mile from the President George Bush Turnpike that will be located between three major roadways. This area will contain a central square and broad promenade for shoppers, local residents and visitors.

Villas on Raiford

The Villas on Raiford will be a 220,000 SF Senior Community Apartment Complex which will include 180 unites, seven buildings, a media room, fitness center and club house. It is scheduled to open in the winter of 2011.

Lakeview at Josey Ranch

Carrollton's newest senior living complex, Lakeview at Josey Ranch, a 189 unit, four-story 55+ Independent Living community is located on a lake directly across from the Carrollton Senior Center. This class “A” Active Adult community features 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with platform parking underneath the building, a two-story community center, full commercial kitchen serving various meal programs, planned social activities, a beauty salon and movie theater.
